Our Mission
At Blue Shield Memorial Care, we provide respectful, preservation-first headstone cleaning and gravesite care for families across Ellis County.
This business was founded by a career law enforcement officer with a deep respect for service, tradition, and integrity. We’re fully insured and committed to safe, ethical cleaning practices based on the guidelines set by the National Center for Preservation Technology and Training (NCPTT) and the Texas Historical Commission (THC).
We follow best practices for biological stone cleaning and avoid harsh chemicals, pressure washing, or any methods that could harm historic or modern gravestones. Our work is focused on long-term preservation, dignity, and respect for every family we serve.
In addition to one-time deep cleanings, monthly preservation visits, and seasonal flag or flower placements, we now offer Legacy Link tribute pages—a custom QR code placed at the grave that connects visitors to a dedicated memorial page. These pages can include photos, life stories, family messages, and ongoing photo updates from our preservation visits. It’s a lasting way to honor and remember loved ones, long after the day of service.

Our Services
Final pricing is based on stone condition, location, and service needs. All quotes are confirmed before any visit is scheduled.

One-time deep cleaning using safe, non-damaging biological solutions. Includes before/after photos and respectful detailing around the stone base. Must deep clean before monthly preservation. Pricing typically ranges from $150–$300 depending on buildup and stone size.

Includes one preservation-focused visit per month. Light touch-up cleaning, debris removal, and condition checks. Before and After pictures. Optional flag or flower placement available. Plans start at $50/month.

Mini U.S. Flag Placement: $10
Vase Clean-Out: $10 per vase
Seasonal Flowers: $25 per vase
These can be added to any visit or scheduled around special holidays.
Add-ons can be scheduled individually or paired with any cleaning.

Create a lasting digital tribute with a personalized QR code and dedicated memorial page, built by hand with care and dignity. Each tribute is hosted on our website and includes your loved one’s name, story, photo, and optional family-submitted messages.

Mailed as a laminated keepsake card
Delivered on a flower pick to the gravesite (Ellis County only)
Or permanently engraved on a titanium plaque for display at the headstone
